The University of Gothenburg and Chalmers have for some years now jointly invited the laureates to Nobel lectures in Gothenburg in connection with their being in Sweden. We have had the privilege of bringing several current award winners to our universities over the years, a tradition we really want to continue. The lectures are usually very popular events, which both the prize winners and the visitors enjoy. All Nordic universities have the opportunity to invite the Nobel laureates and the competition for them is great.
