An introduction to the SciLifeLab site in Gothenburg. The individual units will be presented in more detail during the autumn in this seminar series. A lunch sandwich or similar will be served.
SciLifeLab (www.scilifelab.se) is a national infrastructure within life science with a wide range of advanced technology and expertise. It was started in 2010 as a collaboration between the four host universities: KTH, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm University and Uppsala University but today the SciLifeLab units are spread over Sweden. In 2021 Gothenburg was selected as one of the newly appointed local SciLifeLab sites, which have the assignment to coordinate SciLifeLab activities at each site and to function as ambassadors for SciLifeLab as a whole.
The SciLifeLab site in Gothenburg includes units at both the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology and has a strong connection to Sahlgrenska University Hospital.
