Two young researchers at Sahlgrenska Academy are planning to conduct a period as an international postdoctoral fellow, supported by the Swedish Research Council. Anna Wenger, Institute of Biomedicine will study how acquired mutations can be used to trace the origins of childhood cancer. Her host institutes are located in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. Aron Onerup, Institute of Clinical Sciences, has received funding to go to the United States, where he will study whether physical fitness can prevent late complications in childhood cancer survivors.
