Sahlgrenska Cancer Center takes place among the leading cancer hospitals in Europe. Recently, the application to become a Comprehensive Cancer Center was approved. Sahlgrenska Comprehensive Cancer Center (SCCC) is a hospital-based organization which, in close collaboration with the Sahlgrenska Academy, will have a leading role for research and development in the field of cancer. The center is now looking for research groups that conduct clinical cancer research and / or basic / translational cancer-related research. Membership means increased opportunities for collaboration, for example to conduct clinical trials.
