ACADEMIC CEREMONY. The Inauguration of New Professors has had to be canceled for two years in a row, but on Friday it was finally time. The academic ceremony celebrated those who became professors in 2019, 2020 and 2021. See photographer Johan Wingborg’s photos from the occasion.
Staff at the university had the opportunity to register and participate during the ceremony. The ceremony took place in the Congress Hall Svenska Mässan in the afternoon on Friday May 20. Over a hundred new professors were installed and welcomed by Vice-Chancellor Eva Wiberg. The university also awarded prizes to excellent teachers and pedagogical laureates.
