The Vice-Chancellor appoints a steering group for the coordination of research data

On behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Carina Mallard will appoint a steering group to coordinate research data. The steering group will be the basis for an organization for handling and managing research data, and will lead to a comprehensive support system at the University of Gothenburg.
Dean Agneta Holmäng comments: “Many of the researchers at Sahlgrenska Academy are concerned that this has taken so long. The faculty has long held discussions with the university and also established its own smaller working group to be able to find alternative solutions. We hope that the principal’s decision means that we can quickly get a solution to our big problem, that we lack secure data storage of our sensitive personal data”.
