ACADEMIC CEREMONIES. On Friday, May 6, it’s finally time for the 2020 Conferment of Doctoral Degrees. Staff are now invited to register as audience free at the largest academic ceremony at University of Gothenburg.
The ceremonies for Conferment of Doctoral Degrees have been postponed due to the pandemic and are now carried out once every six months until we are in phase again.
As an employee, you are welcome to participate as an audience at the ceremony and in a festive mingling afterwards, but the number of places is limited and you are required to book your place. Register here no later than March 31.
Recommended dress code is dark suit. For those specially invited to the banquet afterwards the dress code is formal, i.e. tailcoat and long dress.
