Do you want to contribute with a local sub-study to SCAPIS 2?

SCAPIS 2 is currently being planned, with the aim of re-examining half of the study participants who participated in full-scale SCAPIS, a total of 15,000, at all sites (Gothenburg / SU, Malmö / Lund, Linköping, Stockholm, Uppsala and Umeå). These participants have previously undergone extensive research in order to be able to identify individual risks and prevent the onset of cardiovascular and lung diseases. At Sahlgrenska University Hospital, a re-examination of 3125 people is planned. Preliminarily, the study will start in the fourth quarter, 2023 and the study is estimated to take two years to complete in Gothenburg. There is now the opportunity to apply to join a local sub-study to SCAPIS 2 at Sahlgrenska. Read further (in Swedish)
