The Jubilee Clinic’s Cancer Fund has decided to distribute more than SEK 15.2 million to cancer research at, or in connection with, the Jubilee Clinic at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. Researchers employed at other oncology activities in the Region Västra Götaland and Northern Halland can now also apply for this grant, provided that there is a connection to the academic research at the Jubilee Clinic.

The following cancer researchers have been awarded funding for research months for clinicians: Anna Nordenskjöld, Esmaeil Mehrara, Jan Nyman, Malin Blomstrand.
The Jubilee Clinic’s Cancer Fund (Jubileumsklinikens Cancerfond) was established in 1952 and has in the last five years distributed a total of approximately SEK 69.2 million to cancer research in western Sweden. The financing is possible entirely through generous gifts from individuals and companies.
