Welcome to our live-webinar on biodegradable Magnesium implants organized by the European Training Network MgSAFE!
Summary:
MgSAFE ETN regroups 12 partner organizations from academia and from industry across Europe, including the Department of Biomaterials, Institute of Clinical Sciences, Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg. In this EU-project funded by the Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, 15 Ph.D. students are working in consortium to refine the understanding and the monitoring of Mg-implant degradation in living tissues for the treatment of musculoskeletal diseases (www.mgsafe.eu).
Join our live-webinar addressing both science and entrepreneurship in relation with Mg-implants. In this one-day event, international experts will uncover the recent progress achieved to understand the biological response of bone to biodegradable Mg-implants, as well as the current innovations to additively manufacture these implants. Active actors from the Mg-implant industry will also unveil regulatory and entrepreneurship aspects linked to biomedical devices.
The webinar will be held in English. The registration is free of charge.
