The yearly 3R seminar, arranged by the University of Gothenburg’s Animal Welfare body (Djurskyddsorganet), will this year be held on the 6th of April 2022.
This year’s seminar will be a hybrid meeting and we will send out a link after registration to those of you that prefer to attend digitally. For those who wish to attend on spot, the seminar will be held at Arvid Carlsson seminar room in Academicum.
Agneta Holmäng, the license holder (Tillståndshavaren), are among the speakers.
MAIN TOPIC
The main topic of this afternoon’s seminar is to give information about the two important guides in improving the science and animal welfare in research:
PREPARE – Planning Research and Experimental Procedures on Animals: Recommendations for Excellence
ARRIVE – a checklist of recommendations to improve the reporting of research involving animals

The seminar will also give you a summary of the local and national LAS (Laboratory Animal Science) activities of 2021, and a short presentation will be held by the Swedish 3R Center.
WHO CAN ATTEND?
The seminar is aimed to all who work with animal research at GU, and each participant will receive a CPD-certificate, as part of the skills development that is required in the field of Laboratory Animal Science.
