The series “One planet, one chance” just premiered on SVT Play, and is very worth seeing. In the series, film and photojournalist Joakim Odelberg, together with researchers, portrays the threats to our planet, through impacts in several countries, in a concrete and interesting way:
“The TV series provides a clear picture of how environmental degradation affects biodiversity. Joakim Odelberg wants to increase our awareness and a more sustainable world. The first program shows how bad things actually are with our seas. For example, our Bohus coast is one of the most affected by marine litter in Europe. The microplastic that is in the oceans ended up on our own dining table”, says environmental coordinator Rita Grandér. “If we do not take care of the oceans, man will not survive in the end either. But there are good examples of initiatives such as the reintroduction of the spotted red shark in Lysekil.”
So far, the first episode of three is available on SVT Play.
