Tord Berglundh, Professor of Periodontology at the Institute of Odonotology, was recently awarded the international Platinum Award from the Spanish Society of Periodontology (SEPA). The distinction is the highest of those awarded by SEPA, and is given in recognition of researchers and clinics with recognized prestige in the development of periodontology in Spain and around the world. Tord Berglundh received the award at a ceremony in connection with an international conference in Seville at the end of November last year.
