Recently, the board of the Queen Silvia Foundation’s Jubilee Fund for Research on Children and Disabilities, led by H.M. The Queen, gave scholarships to ten doctoral students at Swedish universities, three of whom at Sahlgrenska Academy. Magnus Wårhag received SEK 60,000 for his projct “Attention and reading problems in school children: Insights from sensory noise manipulations and electrophysiology”, Petra Linnsand received SEK 60,000 for the project “Collaboration between healthcare and preschool regarding interventions for young children with autism: Evaluation of the use of the treatment method Early Start Denver Model in preschool ”, and Beatrice Casslén received SEK 80,000 for her project “Diagnosis, management and quality of life in children and adolescents treated with ocular prosthesis”.
