- The Swedish Society for Medical Research (SSMF) is now introducing a new grant, SSMF Consolidator Grant. The grant aims to give prominent researchers in medicine the opportunity to strengthen their activities as independent researchers. It is aimed at researchers 7-12 years after dissertation.
- SSMF also annually announces SSMF Starting Grant (formerly SSMF’s Stora Anslag), in order to give younger researchers holding a PhD with postdoctoral qualifications the opportunity to establish themselves as independent researchers. Criteria and conditions for the grant are as before.
The application period for both of these grants is March 15 – April 15.
