The decision on a detailed plan is an important step in realizing Sahlgrenska Life, which is one of the largest investments in life science in Sweden. The detailed plan allows for new buildings in connection with Sahlgrenska University Hospital’s emergency ward and the university area on Medicinareberget, and also means that the City of Gothenburg intends to improve public transport and space for cyclists and pedestrians on Per Dubbsgatan. From the time the decision was published on the City of Gothenburg’s web – ‘anslagstavlan’ (the bulletin board’) – follows a three-week period with the possibility of appeal. If the detailed plan is not appealed, it will thus becomes valid around the turn of the year.
