Introduction to Evolutionary Biology, is a lecture series in the resource Henry Stewart Talks, Biomedical and Life Sciences Collection, which the library provides via www.ub.gu.se for all GU-affiliated students and employees. The lecture series provides an overall understanding of evolutionary biology and uses empirical examples and case studies in cutting-edge research to illustrate scientific theories and models. The lectures are suitable for both studies at intermediate / advanced basic level, as well as advanced level. A lecture in the series is: “Biogeography: explaining the geographical distribution of organisms” by Alexandre Antonelli, professor of biodiversity at the University of Gothenburg and the University of Oxford, and head of research at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew in the UK.
