Pauli Kortteinen new deputy vice-chancellor, responsible for issues regarding education

Vice-chancellor Eva Wiberg has appointed Pauli Kortteinen new deputy vice-chancellor, responsible for issues regarding education. The assignment commences on October 1st,  2021. Pauli Kortteinen is senior lecturer in linguistics and is currently head of the Department of Philosophy, Linguistics and Theory of Science. Pauli Kortteinen has previously been vice dean of the Faculty of Humanities for education at undergraduate and advanced level. He has extensive experience of teaching mainly in syntax, morphology, semantics, phonetics and language typology, but also in translation theory and non-verbal communication. The assignment as deputy vice-chancellor is 80 percent of full-time employment and will run until June 30, 2023.
