CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION. Akademiliv provides information on the construction of Natrium on Medicinareberget for the period weeks 33– 36 (August 16 – September 10).
- The periodic information about constructions on Medicinareberget is distributed with special mailings and in Akademiliv every four weeks. This autumn’s information will be distributed out on September 13, October 11, November 8 and December 6.

Natrium – new building for the Faculty of Science

The work around the auditorium named Waldemar Sjölander is in the final phase and it will be available again for lectures during August.
At the entrance on Medicinaregatan 7b, a new staircase will be cast.
At the construction site
This summer’s planned work regarding superstructure and installation work has progressed according to schedule.
During the coming month, superstructure erection for floors 2 and 3 will take place for building 2 and the facade fitters will prepare installation of the facade. A new crane will be installed in the EBM yard for the facade fitting, which consists of prefabricated cassettes of glass and sheet metal. Therefore, there will be more transports and deliveries than usual during the period.
The backfilling around the building is largely ready and these surfaces will be used as storage areas when the facade and roof assembly starts.
