The new collaboration lab is called SahlBEC Lab

The new collaboration laboratory that is currently being built in the Image and Intervention Center (BoIC) will be named SahlBEC Lab (Sahlgrenska Biomedical Engineering Collaboration Laboratory). The laboratory will be ready in August, and the inauguration will take place on October 6, 2021. Anyone who wants to use the laboratory and its equipment in microwaves and biomagnestism will be able to apply, and a scientific council will prioritize among these users. Users can be companies, researchers who want to validate their own concept, suppliers who work with components for these technologies or researchers who need an extremely protected and quiet room, where no electric waves interfere, and also those who need lab space near patients.
