Damon Barrett, Assistant Senior Lecturer at the Department of Community Medicine and Public Health, Institute of Medicine, is one of a total of eleven researchers admitted as SIGHT Fellows at The Swedish Royal Academy of Sciences. The researchers are at different stages of their careers, and represent several disciplines and research fields. The SIGHT Fellows Program helps researchers to investigate and develop an interdisciplinary approach within selected themes in global health. A long-term goal of the program is to support collaborations between universities to contribute to the implementation of the UN’s global goals according to Agenda 2030. The career development program runs 2021–2023, and is funded by the Board for International Development Cooperation, Sida.
