Staff can take time off without wage loss for Covid vaccination – check with manager first

The Region Västra Götaland is now entering phase four of vaccination against covid-19, and will start with those who are 50 years or older. If you do not have a Swedish social security number you can also receive a vaccine. In accordance with a statement by the university management, staff can take time off without a salary deduction to carry out their vaccination. The leave must be agreed with the relevant manager before the visit in order to avoid negative effects for the operations. For those who have been vaccinated, the current restrictions continue to apply. All staff must work from home unless the closest manager has agreed that work needs to be done at the workplace.
