The part of the crane that yesterday fell on to the roof of the EBM building is to be removed in the afternoon December 16. After the incident occurred Monday December 14, the contractors have investigated the event with the part of crane that caused damage to the ventilation units on the roof of EBM. The event was not caused by any construction or material defects on the crane itself. Furthermore, they have secured the site and worked on a plan for removal of the last part of the crane. When that is carried out, it will also be possible to inspect the roof from the exterior. Such inspection has already been done inside the building
The restrictions for the EBM yard and entry into the building that were announced yesterday remains until the work is completed. The follow-up of the incident will comply with general regulations for construction sites.
