Ann Wennerberg, professor of prosthetics at Sahlgrenska Academy has been elected to the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA). Ann Wennerberg is best known for her research on surface topography of implants. In her research, she has worked closely with researchers in production technology and applied physics at Chalmers. In recent years, Ann Wennerberg has also worked with analyzes of clinical results for oral implants. IVA is the world’s oldest engineering academy and was founded by HRH King Gustaf V in 1919.
