27 November, 2020 Leave a Comment

FACULTY DIALOGUE. On November 26, the autumn’s general academy meeting was held, focusing on construction issues and the pandemic. The meeting was given completely digitally and a film was available here in Akademiliv until 9 December.

This autumn’s general academy meeting for staff at Sahlgrenska Academy took place on November 26.

The meeting was opened by Dean Agneta Holmäng who welcomed everyone, followed by Pro Dean Henrik Hagberg who gave a brief update on ALF issues for the faculty. He said that the announcement of ALF project funds will take place next year. The call opens on Friday April 16th, and closes on Tuesday 1 June 1st, 2021. Information meetings about the call are planned to be held in March.

After the introduction by Dean and Pro Dean a status report about the Sahlgrenska Academy’s long-term premises supply and ongoing venue followed, with Eric Hanse, ViceDean for Infrastructure.

Then Martin Lagging, professor of clinical virology, gave an update on the pandemic and covid-19.

Eric and Martin’s presentations were followed by questions from the participants.

The General Academy Meetings are a forum for dialogue between employees within Sahlgrenska Academy and the academy’s management and take place a couple of times a year.
