CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION. Akademiliv provides an overview of the construction project Natrium, the new premises for the Faculty of science, and reconstruction work in Medicinarelängan.
Starting now, the information will be distributed every four weeks via construction newletter and in Akademiliv. If you have questions about the construction activities, feel free to emailmedicinareberget@gu.se.
In regards of the spread of covid-19, there is currently no impact on the progress of the projects, but developments can change quickly. The University of Gothenburg and Akademiska Hus are closely monitoring developments and are making adjustments as needed.

WEEKS 34-36, August 17 – September 4.
Natrium
The vacation period has ended and the construction work is back to the regular routines, with blasting both Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12.30, with reserve time at 15.00 on the same days.
Inside Medicinarelängan, the demolition work has been going on all summer and will continue during the autumn.
The image below shows where blasting and other activities will take place during weeks 34 to 36, including the casting.
During autumn, the detail planning is proceeding into its final phase. In parallel, the base slab of the building will appear step-by-step going forward.
