The higher education institutions continue to be responsible for adapting teaching and reducing the spread of infection, even after June 15 when the government announced that universities may re-open for some campus teaching. The University of Gothenburg is preparing for an adapted return to campus, which will probably mean that the teaching in some parts will be carried out digitally also in the fall. The university management and faculties are now investigating how the government’s message affects different education programs, and what may need to be changed in the distance teaching decision made by the Vice-Chancellor on May 11. A supplementary Vice-Chancellor’s decision is expected to be announced before June 6, which will be followed by information on what this means for Sahlgrenska Academy.
