The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings is a sustainability ranking of the world’s higher education institutions that will measure how universities contribute to the global goals of sustainable development. The ranking is based on all the 17 global goals in Agenda 2030. It was first published in April 2019, when more than 400 higher education institutions participated and the University of Gothenburg ended up in sixth place. Nearly 800 higher education institutions participated in the 2020 version of the ranking, and the University of Gothenburg ended up at 45.
