The Region Västra Götaland , Koncernkontoret och Team Tandvård announce 1 million in R&D [FoU] funds for innovative ideas on how oral and dental health can be improved, especially among vulnerable individuals and groups. The financiers are looking for new approaches to research projects that dare to go outside the framework to find new avenues for health work. The projects should lead to useful and health-promoting methods that can have breakthroughs in activities and increase people’s participation and responsibility for their own health (so-called intervention).
Everyone in Västra Götaland can apply, e.g. sociologists, psychologists, dentists or someone with a completely different background. The applicant may be in a public or private health care provider, research units, municipal activities or associations locally based in Västra Götaland. The Board [Hälso- och sjukvårdsstyrelsen] especially welcomes research with interdisciplinary perspectives and that involves several professional groups and competences.
Conditions: The applicant must have a supervisor who has a doctoral candidate, if the applicant does not have a doctoral degree. Contact one of the R&D leaders at Folktandvården to get in touch with a supervisor.
The application period is 15th April – 15th May. The application should be submitted online through the link Regionala FoU-medel – Hälsopromotion tandvård.
