The work on removing the remaining rock closest to Medicinarelängan is proceeding. The wooden plank adds additional protection and keeps some noise away for those closest to the construction site. On Friday the week before last week, it was moved in the direction of Nya Forsken to be properly placed for this week’s work.

Different methods are used to clear the surface from soil and vegetation. Thereafter holes are drilled both for reinforcement and for the Thursday blast. In parallel, work is done to a support wall adjacent to the EBM media center.

Tuesday’s blast takes place in the center of the area on the fourth level according to the figure below.

Blasting in week 13 will take place Tuesday and Thursday at 12.30 with reserve time at 15.00 on the same days. On Thursday, the reserve time will be used to divide some large boulders to enable outloading. This kind of blast usually causes sound but no major vibrations. In addition, this blast is preceded with the usual warning signal.
