The foundations Stiftelsen Handlanden Hjalmar Svenssons forskningsfond [research fund] och Stiftelsen Handlanden Herman Svenssons fond för blinda och synsvaga [fund for the blind and visually impaired] is declaring approximately SEK 2.3 million and approximately SEK 144,868 for:
- research that addresses medical and social problems related to a reasonable restriction on children, or an improvement of mental or mobility in elderly people.
- for the development of assistive devices for the blind and visually impaired.
Grants over SEK 40,000 can only exceptionally be granted for individual projects. Funds for only travelling to congresses or for covering personal salaries are not allowed.
