SURROUNDING WORLD. The University of Gothenburg’s recommendations on covid-19 (corona) are continuously updated and published on the staff portal. Here are also links to more information for managers, staff and students: Recommendations about the corona virus.
Note that from February 28th, the recommendation is that a student or staff member who has been in a risk area should study or work from home for two weeks after returning home, in agreement with the course coordinator or manager.
The University of Gothenburg also discourages students and staff from traveling to risk areas.
- Students: For questions, contact the course coordinator. For Clinical Training (VFU) within VGR or other care provider, the University of Gothenburg’s recommendations apply.

If you have met someone who has covid-19, or has been in a high-risk area for the past 14 days, and has a fever, cough or breathing disorder, call telephone number 1177 for information on how to act. If you feel okey, you do not need to contact the health care provider, even if you have been in an area where people have become ill with the coronavirus.
If you have general questions about covid-19, you can call the national information number 113 13. All information provided by 113 13 is verified by the Public Health Authority or other responsible authority. The service is available around the clock throughout the year.
