Travel grants for PhD students in preclinical and clinical medical research

The Swedish Society for Medical Research (Svenska Sällskapet för Medicinsk Forskning, SSMF) awards travel grants to PhD students pursuing preclinical and clinical medical research in Sweden. The first call of the year is now open.

Elible to apply are registered PhD students with at least one own peer-reviewed publication. The scholarships are not awarded to those who have defended their PhD thesis or to unregistered doctoral students. The journey may commence no earlier than one month after the closing of the application period.

The application periods in 2020 are:

February 15th – March 1st
May 15th – September 1st
August 15th – September 1st
November 15th – December 1st
