Four young researchers receive Sahlgrenska Academy International Starting Grant

Sahlgrenska Academy has, after preparation in a group appointed by the Council for Research (FOR), decided which young researchers receive the Sahlgrenska Academy International Starting Grant 2019. Four young researchers receive SEK 1 million: Johan Bengtsson Palme (Institute of biomedicine), Mattias Svensson (Institute of Medicine), Clotilde Wiel (Institute of Clinical Sciences) and Pekka Jaako (Institute of Biomedicine). The purpose is to encourage recruitment of talented researchers with international experience. The grant is aimed at researchers who have completed their dissertation not more than eight years before the last application date and who has spent atleast a year as an international postdoc.
