DIGITAL DEVELOPMENT. Now you can use a simple map app to navigate around both Chalmers and GU. The app “Hitta på campus” app is a digital guide to classrooms, restaurants, bus stops and much more. It is planned to be evaluated in the summer of 2021.
The app is available for Android and iPhone, and you download it for free n App Store or Google Play.
When you are looking for a building or premises, you can see where it is located on the app’s map and how to get there easily from your location.
Find on the campus app contains information on:
- buildings and premises
- trips with Västtrafik, including the nearest bus and tram stops and timetables
- Styr & Ställ’s bicycle stations, the nearest station and how many bicycles and bicycle racks each have at the moment
- restaurants and cafes on campus
- student services such as service centers and printers
The app has been developed by Chalmers, and has been further developed in collaboration with University of Gothenburg. It is primarily intended for use by students, but serves as a guide for staff as well. The app will be available until July 2021 and will be evaluated thereafter.
