2019
Hörsal Arvid Carlsson, Academicum, Medicinaregatan 3
Note that the meeting is held in Swedish. The General Academy Meetings are a forum for dialogue between staff at Sahlgrenska Academy and the Academy management. The meeting can also be viewed live on the web.
Sahlgrenska Academy has had essentially the same access to premises for a long time, while both research and education have grown. The expansion has led to a densification in existing premises, a solution that has been short-term rational and economical, but does not meet the needs in the long term. New premises need to be added. The question is when and what operational consequences it will have.
During the autumn of 2019, work has been carried out within Sahlgrenska Academy to develop a business plan that will provide support and documentation for faculty decisions on facility issues. The work on the business plan includes a situation assessment of current and planned premises as well as possible development alternatives.
Listen to Eric Hanse, Vice Dean for Infrastructure and Premises, and consultants from Inhouse Tech AB, who present an overall interim report of the work carried out during the autumn.
