CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION. Below is information related to the construction project Naturvetenskap Life. During week 38 the spare time at 15:00 on Thursday will also be used to burst a few large blocks in order to be able to unload them – thus two blasting takes place Thursday September 19.
CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION WEEK 37
September 9 – September 13
- The removing of loose rock material from the wall continues. The work of the excavator is followed by manual work assisted by a boom lift to reach all parts of the surface.
- In parallel the geologist engineer is designing further reinforcements.
- Outside Nya Forsken more wooden barriers will be put in place toward the corner by the substation. They will be attached to the rock by specially designed steel wires.
- Blasting as usual on Tuesday and Thursday at 12.30.
- On the street close to the”igloo”, (the ”globe” covered by wood) additional signage will be carried out to protect pedestrians and cyclists.
CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION WEEK 38
September 16 – September 20
- The work on clearing the rocks will continue. An electrician will join the team to prepare the construction site for the cooler season ahead. We will review the lighting on site and make sure the water supply will not freeze.
- Blasting as usual on Tuesday and Thursday at 12.30. On Thursday, the reserve time at 15.00 will be used for some larger boulders that need to be divided in smaller pieces to enable outloading.

September 23 – September 27
- After a few weeks of clearing loose soil and macadam very close to the EBM media central the geologist engineer will proceed in the area even closer to the facade.
- Blasting as usual on Tuesday and Thursday at 12.30.
