The workshop is part of the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers Sustainability Week.
Representatives of the Center for Sustainable Health Care, a world leader in this field, provide a workshop focusing on how sustainable development can be integrated in education programs for physicians, dentists, nurses, occupational therapists and public health workers. Examples of themes include ‘Greening Operating Room’, ‘Sustainable Action Planning’, ‘Sustainable Dentistry’, and other models for analyzing a product or business’s climate impact, or planning to reduce that impact.

The Center for Sustainable Health Care (https://sustainablehealthcare.org.uk/) is a British foundation, started in 2008 by researchers Sir Muir Gray (University of Oxford) and Prof. Rachel Stancliffe (London School of Economics). They have assignments for the British NHS and have developed sustainability solutions for different parts of health care as well as educational models for medical education.
