The lunch lecture is part of the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers Sustainability Week.
Representatives of the Center for Sustainable Health Care, who are world leaders in this area, introduce how health and climate change are linked. They provide concrete examples of how health care can reduce the climate impact, for example, through the exchange of materials, more effective communication between healthcare units, and how medical education can be evaluated sustainable.

The Center for Sustainable Health Care (https://sustainablehealthcare.org.uk/) is a British foundation, started in 2008 by researchers Sir Muir Gray (University of Oxford) and Prof. Rachel Stancliffe (London School of Economics). They have assignments for the British NHS and have developed sustainability solutions for different parts of health care as well as educational models for medical education.
