EQUAL TREATMENT. Have you experienced behavior or been in a situation that you felt was inappropriate? This is not acceptable and help is available so you do not have to deal with it alone.
A simple approach is a project that began after the autumn 2017 by Sahlgrenska Academy and in collaboration with Sahlgrenska Academy’s and the University of Gothenburg’s student unions. The purpose of the project is for doctoral students at Sahlgrenska Academy to have a simple approach for reporting discrimination or assault and while also receiving information about how to report or deal with their experiences.
Doctoral students have an ombudsman who works for them. The ombudsman’s job is to inform, support and be with you if you want to report something that you have experienced as harassment. The ombudsman works under confidentiality and you can discuss an event without information being passed on to others.
Harassment includes unwanted behavior based on the seven forms of discrimination: sex, transgender identity or expression, ethnic origin, religion or other belief, disability, sexual orientation and age. Sexual harassment is harassment with sexual aspects, such as physical assault, sexual references, unwanted looks and comments.
