ELN (Electronic Laboratory Notebook) is a digital lab diary which is used to collect, organize and document their research data in a web interface. In Biovias ELN you can download, present, print reports and share their results.
Why electronic research documentation?
Electronic research documentation increases searchability, transparency and information security, and makes it easier to follow GU’s regulations for research documentation:
- Research results are searchable
- Automatic backup
- Templates can be created, shared and reused
- Used to improve the dialogue with doctoral students
- Reduces the risk of cheating and misconduct
- Responds to increased demands for transparency from financiers and scientific journals
More information about Biovia ELN system can be found in the link below that goes to Karolinska Institutet and where it became mandatory for all researchers to document their research digitally on January 1, 2019. Info KI-ELN: https://ki.se/en/staff/ki-eln-the-electronic-notebook
