WEEK 13
(March 25 -29)
The excavation work and the protection of high voltage cables near the gate is being finalized during Monday and then the gate will be restored.
Blasting times as usual this week and onwards are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12.30 with reserve time at 15.00
The Tuesday blast, the eleventh since the beginning and the second one facing the future rock wall along the façade of the new building is specifically aiming for making the wall safe and also minimize the future maintenance as much as possible. The drilling that will occur is done for reinforcement.
Furthermore drilling for increased protection on the slope facing Medicinarelängan will also start. A barrier, 1 meter high, will be put in place during week 14.
WEEK 14
(April 1 -5)
In addition to the work with the barrier, the last major wood cutting activity will start, mostly in the area stretching toward the goods reception, followed by removal of vegetation. The fence will be completed thereafter.
The evacuation routes will be protected by a new 3 meters high barrier, a three meters high fence placed a bit away from the façade of “Nya Forsken”.
WEEK 14
(April 8 -12)
This week the excavator that were on site at the beginning of the work in November last year will be back. Initially it will in used close to the goods reception but long term its main task will be to load rocks on to trucks for removal.
