Summary:
WEEK 9
Last week, the first two blasts were carried out. It went completely according to plan and the vibrations registered were well below the set limits.
Blasting will take place Tuesdays and Thursdays 12.30. If blasting cannot happen at the set times for some reason, the extra time is 15.00 on the same days. Generic advice in relation to blasting is to avoid standing close to the windows. This is an extra safety measure, not to be understood as unnecessary risks are being taken.
This week two more blast will be done near the cliff and the temporary road.
WEEK 10
In week 10, blasting will be moved temporarily from the hill top to the side of the road. It is an area behind the EBM building with a small area that needs to be removed for the future permanent road.
WEEK 11
Blasting continues on the hill top. The temporary road is then redesigned for transport vehicles to access the site.
