Record your lecture yourself in the convenient film studio at Medicinarelängan

24 April, 2018

The recording rooms are equipped with green screen, but you can also choose to make the recording without a green screen.

EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT. The recording room at Medicinarelängan is now complete and ready for use. In the room teachers can easily record, edit and share lectures.

Sahlgrenska Academy’s recording room 2032 is in the corridor behind the Anatomen café.
Feel free to book an introduction for here: https://kompetensutveckling.adm.gu.se/seminarie/detalj/3430

The recording rooms are equipped with a green screen, but you can also choose to make a recording without it.

The recording room is equipped with fixed studio lights, a camera and a green screen, which makes it possible to replace the background with images from the presentation you are making. Your recording immediately ends up in the editing application on the computer in the room, and from there you can also upload your finished film to GU Play or another platform where you want to share it. Teachers can reserve the room to record lectures and to make other types of simple productions, such as interviews and panel discussions.

Here’s how to reserve the room

Booking the recording room is done online by following these instructions:

  • Log in to the Staff Portal
  • At the bottom of the black field, click “Boka lokal” (Reserve premises) under “FÖR LÄRARE” (FOR TEACHERS)
  • Click on “Gå till TimeEdit webb” (Go to TimeEdit Web), then “FÖR MEDARBETARE” (FOR STAFF)
  • Click on “Boka lokal” (Reserve premises)
  • TIP! Save this page as a Bookmark/Favorite to avoid having to click so much in the future.
  • Enter the date you want to reserve
  • Select the recording room by searching for 2032 or click “Sök alla” (Search all), and find the room in the list
  • Click on the room, and you will see a calendar for the week of your chosen date
  • Click the calendar on the date you want to reserve and enter the start and end times
  • Search for your own name by entering your x account; if your name doesn’t come up, it’s likely that you are already booked for this specific time for something else.
  • Select “Inspelning” (Recording)
  • Click on “BOKA” (RESERVE)
