ELECTION OF NEW PRO-DEAN. The voting list is currently being compiled for the advisory election for the appointment of a new Pro-Dean at Sahlgrenska Academy. The election will take place between 28 February and 11 March. If you are eligible to vote, please check that you are included on the preliminary voting list that is currently being circulated among the departments.
The candidate is Henrik Hagberg, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology specializing in perinatal medicine at the Department of Clinical Sciences. He is currently Head of the Section for Women and Children’s Health, and a board member of Hälso-sam.
The advisory election will be carried out between 28 February and 11 March.
Eligible voters will be able to either vote for the advisory group’s proposal, their own candidate, or submit a blank ballot. The election is done digitally.
According to the rules of procedure at the university, all employees may vote as long as their employment comprises at least 50% of a full time position and they are employed on a permanent basis or have an appointment comprising at least two years of continuous employment. To be eligible to vote, these conditions must be met at the time of the voting list being drawn up.
Check that you are on the voting list
A preliminary voting list for each department, Core Facilities and the Sahlgrenska Academy Office has recently been circulated to the relevant departments for review. The Department or equivalent unit must submit its comments no later than 26 February at 10:00. It is good if you can check that you are on the list well ahead of this deadline and point out any errors to the administrative head at your department.
