FACULTY ELECTION. Eric Hanse, who is proposed to continue as Pro-Dean at Sahlgrenska Academy, received 88.9 percent of the vote in the advisory election. The turnout was 43.2 percent.
The election of Pro-Dean is advisory and apply for a six-year term with effect from April 1, 2017, or according to other agreement. The election was conducted electronically between March 8 and 15.
513 of the total of 1187 eligible voters at the Faculty used of their right to vote in the election, giving a turnout of 43.2 percent. 456 (or 88.9 percent) of the 513 who voted in the election accepted the proposal by the Nomination Committee – Eric Hanse. 47 abstained. A total of ten votes were submitted on own proposals, of which one was annulled. The Nomination Committee has submitted the final result of the vote to the Vice-Chancellor, and proposes that Professor Eric Hanse is to be appointed Pro-Dean at Sahlgrenska Academy.
