Now you can check your information in the preliminary electoral roll

31 January, 2017

ELECTION OF NEW DEAN. As a preparation for the election of a new dean and vice dean at the Sahlgrenska Academy, the Faculty Office has now compiled a preliminary electoral roll. The Institutions, Core Facilities and the Faculty Office must submit any comments regarding the electoral roll by no later than February 9.

The goal of the drafting group is that the election can be carried out during the month of February in 2017 and that this election takes place with electronic support. However, the date of the election is not yet set.

According to the rules of procedure of the university, those qualified to vote in the election are all employees within the faculty whose employment comprises at least 50% of a full time position and who are employed on a permanent basis or have an appointment comprising at least two years of continuous employment. Those qualified to vote are those who meet the requirements at the time the electoral roll is determined. During the election, candidates for a doctorate are included in the student group and consequently are not included in the electoral roll. A leave of absence is no hindrance to taking part in the election.

The aim of the drafting group is to determine the electoral roll on February 14, 2017.

The information in the preliminary electoral roll has been obtained from lists of the faculty’s permanent and temporary employees in accordance with reports in “PA Qualified to vote” in the Data Warehouse on January 23, 2017.  The preliminary electoral roll is an Excel document. Each institution or equivalent has its own tab and has been given the task of verifying that the electoral roll is not incorrect.

The preliminary electoral roll can be read at: https://gubox.box.com/s/yn0dqtgq4mj3erokin1zn47bt9uh9o88

Please provide any comments regarding the preliminary electoral roll to your institution, which in turn shall compile these and send them to the Faculty Office by no later than February 9, 2017.
