SELECTING VICE-CHANCELLOR. The nominating committee has now unanimously agreed on a proposal for representatives from Sahlgrenska Academy in the consultative assembly (hörandeförsamlingen) in the recruitment of a new vice-chancellor. The consultative assembly is tasked with providing comments on the proposed candidates for the university board. Sahlgrenska Academy’s election to the consultative assembly will be conducted electronically October 3-9.
Sahlgrenska Academy has 14 seats on the consultative assembly, including 8 seats for teacher representatives and 6 seats for other employees. The Faculty Board has instructed the nomination committee to provide proposals for representatives. Once this is done, an electronic election will be held at the faculty. The election will be carried out electronically.
The nomination committee’s proposal
After the usual preparation, the nomination committee unanimously nominates the following candidates:

- Carina Mallard, Institute of Neuroscience and Physiology (replacing Lena Hartelius)
- Ingmar Skoog, Institute of Neuroscience and Physiology
- Mikael Nilsson, Institute of Biomedicine (replacing Pierre Åman)
- Silvana Naredi, Institute of Clinical Sciences
- Lill Mårtensson Bopp, Institute of Medicine
- Per Lindahl, Institute of Medicine
Representatives for other staff
- Kenneth Wilhelmsson, Institute of Health and Care Sciences
- Johan Thompson, Institute of Odontology
- Sofia Särnsten, Institute of Neuroscience and Physiology
- Ulrika Lantz Carlsson, Institute of Biomedicine

Timetable
- September 25: The last day to review and provide comments on the preliminary list of voters
- September 28: The voting list is approved by the nominating committee
- October 3-9: Election is held at the faculty.
- November 22, December 15 and, if needed December 20 The consultative assembly meets

A preliminary list of voters will be sent to the relevant institutions for quality review.
If you are qualified to vote in the election, you should feel free to check that your name and email address are correct in the provisional list of voters. Note that each institution has its own tab.
