STUDENT. During the spring semester, Sahlgrenska Academy has accuired a so-called Age Simulation Suit – a suit that simulates the symptoms that are common among the elderly and that allows the wearer experience the body’s limitations when you are old. The suit is used within several study programs at Sahlgrenska Academy, by students that later in their professional lives will be working with the elderly. Our reporter Elin Lindström Claessen got help to try the suit on, with assistance by Theresa Westgård, who works with the occupational therapy program at Sahlgrenska Academy, Gothenburg University.
