DEVELOPMENT OF MEDICINAREBERGET. By proposal of the project owner, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Staffan Edén, the University Board made a decision on June 7, to gather research and education within the life sciences at the University of Gothenburg, and to promote, in cooperation with the Region Västra Götaland and Chalmers, the gathering of relevant activities that inspire each other, and thereby create added value for research, education, healthcare and even the business community.
In view of the strategic decision the board commissions the Vice-Chancellor to take necessary measures in accordance with Staffan Edén report.

Faculty of Social Sciences will pursue a project for their future needs of developmented premises. An interim report is expected before the summer holiday. The project will be led by the Dean at the Faculty of Social Sciences.
Thereby the formal project Vision 2020 – Medicinareberget is concluded. The project is now moving forward in a different form as proposed above.
